Afternoon Reading – February + March

Dear Readers,

I apologize for the lack of blog posts during the last couple of months. However, I have been doing a little bit of reading so I’m super excited to be able to share with you some of the books!

First up, we have the:

The Maze Runner Series by James Dashner
Genre: Science Fiction, Young Adult Fiction, and Post-Apocalyptic Fiction

Currently, I’m waiting for the final book, The Fever Code, from the library to read it, but I read the four other books and they were incredible!!

I felt that the plots were original enough to keep me interested, so that was really great!

I usually feel as though a lot of plots are very similar to other books that I’ve read, but these were really unique and kept me interested the entire time.

The plot twists were also super amazing and super surprising, so that was great!! There was actually one plot twist that made me so sad, but all in all, it was a really great series.

The characters are well developed, and you begin to really like them since their characteristics are super realistic. 🙂

This series is a five out of five rating!

The next trilogy that I’ve read is:

The Mortality Doctrine trilogy by James Dashner
Genre: Science Fiction, and Young Adult Fiction

This is also a really good series by James Dashner.

The characters were really well written and the plots were unique.

I feel though, that the plots were so unique that I had a hard time understanding it fully. My thought is that to fully comprehend everything, I might have to reread the entire trilogy.

But I understand the gist of the trilogy. So for me, that was good.

The characters were super unique and most of them were relatable, so that was super awesome…

Because I didn’t really have a great grasp on the plot I think I would rate this a three out of five…

So for now, those are all the books that I have currently read. 🙂 They’re really good and I would recommend that you read them.

Comment below to let me know your favorites or ones that you think I should read!

Without further adieu,
Until next time,
